WAHAHAHHAHA! I FINALLY KICK-ED THE CHORAL BUCKET!!

and i'm free from 11am onwards! =DD

reminder: choir prac!

tomorrow! [28 MAY 08]
9.30h - 12.30h
be at the music room, preferably by 9.00h.

Just to let you guys know, The Sec 4s [and 5] won't be around because we have CLASSES from 8 to 12.30.
So please cooperate with the Seniors taking charge [whoever that may be, be it Luke, Ben See, Kenneth, Jeremy, Sherwin, or anyone else!]

And Sec 3s, please step up! Take INITIATIVE! But at the same time, be organised. If a job only requires one person, then let just one person do unless assistance is required. [duh.]

hope to hear good musical production on 26 July, as well as that Hall assembly preview!
Enjoy the music making process! [while the Sec 4s and 5 try not to sleep during classes]
Hey guys!

Ronald, Ben see and i are running from Potong Pasir to Bishan on sunday in the late afternoon...
Anyone who would like to join us?
Train for X-country?
Haha

1 more week to Hols!
And 1 more week to O lvl mother tongue...
And 1 more week to intensive remedial with all teachers, with no breaks in between

How sad can our life be?

Monday's rehearsal.

Please remember that there is a rehearsal for tomorrow from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Come in 10 minutes early to make sure that we start on time, please. Also, make sure that all solfege for music that we have already gone through has been written, and that choir journals are brought. Try to revise your music.

We will be asking about the concerts tomorrow. See below for information. Don't you dare be blasé about... wait, what am I talking about?

1. From what i interpreted from their website, they're gonna have their concert on the 31 May 08. Judging from the blog, they will be singing many songs, including songs from ABBA! They will be performing at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Hall at NUS. If anybody wants tickets for it, i think you can either order it from the CGS choir. If you dunno them, feel free to ask us too! ( us=excos, cos quite a lot of us keep in touch with the CGS choir aka Teriyaki and AIRBUS and Melsyl)

According to their blog, where the information comes from ShiPing's blog, the choir is going to sing Mama Mia and Thank You For The Music by ABBA.( I'm not a huge ABBA fan, but i think their songs are nice)

Also, according to shiping, Mr Tay has written a song dedicated for Miss Tham, which according to them is very nice. -indeed

3. Temasek Junior College
Title: Reflections IX: Grease
Venue: Mrs Lee Choon Guan Concert Hall (ACS Barker)
Date: 9th May, Friday
Time: 7.30pm
Ticket Price: $12

The Japanese and Spanish songs they are going to perform:
1. Japanese Game and Mihara Yassa Bushi (By Ko Matsushita)
2. Sho-ga (by Hikeki Chihara)
3. Sabia Coracao de uma viola (By Alyton Escobar)
4. Amor de Mi Alma (By Z.Randall Stroop)
5. Oiga Compae and;
6. Mata del Anima sola (By Antonio Esteves)
Also, there will be a rendition of musicals, Saturday Night Fever and Grease.

Personally, i feel that the choir is really great. Ronald and I have been going there for the past 2 years and the concert never fail to amaze us. However, i doubt anyone from our school or choir is going, given the short notice. As the repertoire never mention bout the alumni singing, i dun think ms gan or mr tong will be singing.
