CALLING ALL SCRIPTERS DESU.

Firstly, let me say this: I see a lot of informality coming up xD IS that good or bad? >: And ronald, ya, nobody listens to top 100 itunes songs other than you because itunes is practically the most restricting player on a windows platform kthnxbye. 8D And also, you don't use this blog to clarify your own personal feelings, so, ahem. *deletes*

RONALD LIONG STOP POSTING LAME SONGS THAT WE DON'T ENJOY.

ronald_liong|: It's the first time.

BLEAH, I DON'T CARE LOL.

GUESS THE SONGS IN SUCCESSION, quite simple really!!! (This would be so much cooler, right?! But we'd need sops. >:)

OR BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (without the freaking actions and certain crazy out-of-tune parts and in a more choral fashion). YAR, THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHATEVER BEEPING OR BONKING THAT RONALD LIKES, RIGHT LOL.

Thanks for the greetings!

Just wanna thanks everyone who sent Christmas SMS greetings. [though i'm in Indonesia, which means roaming charges], but anyway, each one of them are appreciated.

Wanted to reply to the smses, but they'll cost me money, and I won't reach as many people. So, here goes my greeting!

0 DAYS LEFT!!!

PESSIMISTS, AREN'T YOU PEOPLE?! D:

I don't know, but I thought we sang quite well. Surprisingly, my younger sibling enjoyed Siriri and the elder, Psalmo! And of course, my mom fell in love with CGS' gowns. "I like the lilac gowns la," she said. I don't know what your families think, but Ms. Gan's dad congratulated us, and Mr. Goh Boon Pin also said it was a great effort that we put in, so, yeah, I guess we can be happy. I KNOW YOU ALL WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT LOCUS ISTE BUT OMG, IT'S OVER LA.

*jumps into "it's over" korean song*

and we were kinda shouty...

Congratulations, guise and gals, we made it out alive. I know how much we've put in and how much we've produce just somehow doesn't not match up, but no matter, we are done, and done.

All we've got to look forward to is to next year's MUSICAL and TRIP TO PRAGUE aka CZECHOSLOVAKIA however you spell it (CZECH REPUBLIC NAW). *spams with unnecessary information.*

AND BUG RONALD FOR THE PHOTOS. *bugs*

Something to lighten the mood here 8D.

Apparently a friend of mine has it xD

BUNSEE loves you all. (Does not necessarily include TERYNE!.)

This was written at 11.56PM +8GMT On Saturday, 22nd December 2007 but posted a day later due to BUNSEE'S INTERNETS being disconnected by a concerned sister who wanted him asleep.

whoops, almost forgot...

ya, i guess i was typing with a hangover of some of those rapsberry ice thingy.

anyway, I think some people deserve some honorable mentions.... so here goes....

Luke Tan for suggesting, and actually carrying out the X-mas Gift Exchange. I think we can make this an annual thing!
oh, thanks for bringing the music room key home on 21Dec07. otherwise, we couldn't have entered the music room until ms gan came, which was like 45 min later...

BenSee for his input on the musicality [i.e.: criticisms]. Well, this is the only way we can improve ourselves.

Almost everyone for actually being present for almost all the practices. This is indeed a good tradition which we should carry on into next year.

Joel Khoofor single-handedly selling ntickets where n >no. of tickets the others sold.

Non-SYF singers like Shawn Woo, Nishnathan, Yong Sheng, just to name 3. Although Yong Sheng didn't perform in the end, I think it's good to see that they come for practices, and regularly.

Jeremy Tan for always being the earliest, and the last to leave. [you friggin time-consumer. I have to lock up the room lorh!]

Alumni members! like Paul, Tim, Walter, Samuel. Very encouraging to see you guys at YMS yesterday [and the days before.]

and of course, the teachers!!!

Ms Deborah Gan had gone through lots of paperwork, brain crunching, and [in one word] trouble to make this concert possible. [and a success.]

Ms Jacinta Lim was still working on her birthday +the holidays just for us. She helped handle the tickets [which was a nightmare when numbers coming in are always jumping around... much like our quality of singing... always fluctuating]

Mr William Lim, our conductor, is conducting us for the last time in the position of our conductor. He will still be coming in, although not as regularly, as a vocal coach.

Mr Albert Tay lost his voice on concert day itself, but that was not an excuse which he used for not conducting us. He carried on conducting us, even though he could have rested.

Same for "The Great Choral Sage" <-BenSee, consider trademarking this.

I mean Ms Jennifer Tham. Earlier in the week, she lost her voice. [coincidence? no. it's the season.] However, she still gave her input and made the music making process enjoyable for all. and definitely, the music we sang sounded nice [except for the shouting... oops.]

Oh, and CGS [yes, i'm using initials to prevent another typo.]. Sorry about the ticket error.... fixed in post on the brochure, though.... But nevertheless, I think they did well. By the way, for "Hark! The Bells are ringing", I really enjoyed that preview of the walk-in procession song. [hint. hint.]

yay! Blogging rights!

hey everyone! I'm Ronald, in case the username is not clear n concise enough. Wanna thank bensee for giving me authoring rights to this blog. After all, I am pretty much a veteran blogger. Anyway, it's concert nite. Well, it's post concert. So I thought I'll write a few comments.

We have been working really hard for this concert for a month. Overseas trip forgone, time sacrificed, and not forgetting having to come early to do morning runs. But I think, however hard we may have worked, our results are what we reap. I hope we can take from the concert something which we can apply into choir practices. We have months to years left wiu the choir. That's time we want to spend wisely. We shouldn't be like the "build up and knock down" cycle of pre-SYF. We're somewhere today. Let's move on.

I'll end of with this Comment of the concert...
"I really enjoy it" -Mrs Charles

1 DAY TO GO!

Hello world.

Yes, I bought my present with Raymond and Ronald. >:3 Apparently the person whom I bought it for knows what it is because I didn't keep it a secret. *slaps self*.

BESIDES THAT:
I am really worried for Siriri, but no matter, i'm sure you guise will FLOOR it, right?
And Mighty Wonder, oh dear, how am I going to sing it without SHOUTING?!!!
I think the rest is quite wonderful enough. *sarcasm*

GO GUISE, THIS IS OUR ONE CHANCE TO MAKE OURSELVES KNOWN AS PEOPLE WHO CAN SING.

THIS IS HOW FAST SALMO IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN SATB. >:3 But i'm sure Mr. Lim won't go so frigging fast. Note enthusiasm. I.E. Concentrated expressions and smiles.

*goes off and wraps present*

4 Days to go!

HELLO EVERYONE, O GENKI DESU KA?! *random gibberish*

Having very much been put through a lot this week, I am completely extremely sure that most are very, very tired. SO SLEEP EARLY. >:

From what you heard today, of course, most of you know that we really need to work on all the fine points of the COMBINED SONGS. Yes, the combined songs that sound so nice when put together properly. Here is a list of stuff that is compiled to consider in the singing:

  • BREATH.
  • HEAD NOT TILTING UP.
  • MOAR BREATH.
  • STANDING POSTURE.
  • NOT LEANING.
  • BREATHING TO THE FLOOOOR.
  • PHRASING.
  • INFLECTION.
  • DYNAMICS.
  • SINGING TOWARDS WHICH WORDS.
  • CONSTENANT POSITIONS.
  • SHIZ.
  • MEMORISING SCORES.
Yes, remember all that, dear peoples. If not, how are we supposed to reach SYEC standard lol.

IN our own pieces, please, please please please please do remember all inflections and dynamics. Remember how Siriri sounds like... you don't want it to crash and burn on concert day, don't you? All crescendoes and decrescendoes should be stuck already, with phrasing in mind, except, probably for Come on Children and Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel WHICH, I must say, should be done as best as possible during the next 3 rehearsals that we have. Yes, 3. Ganbatte deshou, its not impossible.

BUNSEE

HELLO ALL YE SAINTZ.

*lame title*

Anyways, before I start, here's something: I never intended to reveal this until I got all CSS scripting done. But anyways, this will be updated as often as I can because, well, I choose to do it in between my D-Gray man screenings, right? >:

Anyways, ya, upon seeing that we have a long, long way to go before we actually get our own domain (unless we register with google, of course <:) I decided to host it on blogspot! *cheers* hopefully it won't die out like most class blogs >_>

And so, begins the epic journey of The Saints Choir's blog!!!
